In Pott keramika we have designed this collection dedicated to the Latxa sheep that consists of the sheep, the black sheep, the ram and the lamb.
By creating these pieces we wanted to give recognition to this animal so characteristic of our landscape, Euskal Herria.

Latxa Sheep
The Latxa sheep (or Ardi Latxa in Basque) is the sheep breed of Euskal Herria. It has a very long fleece of rough wool (Latxa in Basque means rough) and fat.
For years, the importation of other races was prohibited, so it has lasted a long time.
The sheep is raised primarily for its milk, intended for the production of Idiazabal cheese.
